The Wisest Investment: Teaching Your Kids to Be Responsible, Independent and Money-Smart for Life (Beginner) | 1:00-2:00pm EST
Objectives
Raising money-smart kids has never been easy. But it’s even harder in today’s financially complex world. You don’t want your kids to suffer from money stress, make expensive mistakes or become spoiled or entitled. Money is still a taboo topic. And if you feel like you’re not good with money yourself, or too busy with your practice and patients to make time for it, you may avoid the topic altogether. But even if we’re not talking about it, our kids are still learning from us and the way we behave around money. Instead of avoiding the topic, we need to give our kids the knowledge, skills and confidence to make responsible financial decisions. They need to develop healthy financial habits so that one day they can become financially independent young adults.
In this one-hour fireside chat, Robin will answer the top questions she gets from parents and take questions from you, the audience. You’ll learn three easy-to-use strategies, and pointers for talking to kids at different ages and stages about the Five Pillars of Money. You’ll leave ready and inspired to make The Wisest Investment!
